He was born in Isparta in 1984. He graduated from the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration at Süleyman Demirel University in 2008. In 2008, he was appointed as a research assistant at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Bucak Zeliha Tolunay Appl. Tech. And Business Vocational School. In 2013, he was appointed as an assistant professor to the same university's Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. Prof. Dr. Alparslan, who received the title of Associate Professor in 2017, was appointed to the professorship at the Faculty of Communication, Department of Public Relations and Promotion at Süleyman Demirel University in 2023.

Prof. Dr. Alparslan took on the roles of Director of the Strategic Research Application and Research Center at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University in 2013, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences also in 2013, Director of the Vocational School of Social Sciences in 2015, Director of Burdur Development Center in 2017, Rector's Advisor in 2020, and Director of the Institute of Social Sciences in 2021.

Prof. Dr. Alparslan; has authored many national and international articles, papers, book chapters in the fields of management and organization, organizational behavior and positive organizational behavior, has chaired the organizing committee of many congresses, has conducted and still conducts postgraduate thesis consultancies.

Prof. Dr. Ali Murat Alparslan, who is married and a father of two, has been appointed as the Rector's Advisor at Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University as of June 20, 2023. As of December 28, 2023, he has been appointed as the Dean of Bucak Business Faculty by the Presidency of the Higher Education Council.
