Applications for the 2020 Summer School, which will be opened within our university, have started.
Detailed information and documents that will guide and inform our university students and guest students who want to take courses from our university's summer school are included in the attached files, and it will be beneficial for our students who will apply to carefully examine and read them.
- MAKÜ student, in order to take the course that is not opened in the unit they are registered in, within the university without losing their rights, they need to apply with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=MAKU and after the application, the decision of the unit administrative board they are registered in is needed.
- MAKÜ student, provided that summer school courses are not opened in our university's faculty/school/conservatory/vocational schools, they need to apply with the application form from the address https://prg.mehmetakif.edu.tr/YazOkuluBasvuruFormu/?YOBF=DIGER in order to take courses from other university/universities without losing their rights, and after the application, the decision of the unit administrative board they are registered in is needed.
In our university, due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, all theoretical courses in the 2020 Summer School will be conducted through distance education. The decision on whether practical courses will be conducted through distance education or face-to-face will be made by the academic units, and the list will be published on the web pages of the relevant academic units.
In the summer school;
- Midterm and final exams of the courses that will be conducted only through distance education will be conducted through Distance Education. (Using the exam module or assignment module on the system such as assignment, multiple choice, true-false, matching, short answer, written) The exam format will be determined by the instructor of the course and announced to the students in advance according to the determined schedule.
- Exams of the courses that will be conducted face-to-face will also be conducted face-to-face. It is strongly announced to all students who will apply.
On the main page of our university, there are necessary explanations about the distance education method and video recordings regarding the management of the system. In addition, for any questions and problems you experience regarding distance education, support will be provided by sending your "student number, name, surname, registered unit (school), department/program, etc." information and the problem you are experiencing in detail to the email address uzak@mehmetakif.edu.tr.
