Attention to Students Applying for Summer School

According to the decision of our University Senate dated 03/07/2020 and numbered 398/1;

In the 2020 Summer School Application Principles, the provision stating “Students who have taken and passed all the courses they are required to take in the Fall and Spring Semesters, and have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of at least 3.00, can take courses from upper classes up to a total of 30 ECTS credits from the summer school.” has been removed and the following provisions have been added to be valid in the 2020 Summer School due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

  • Students with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.00 and above can take courses from upper classes up to a total of 30 ECTS credits, even if they have failed courses from previous semesters.
  • Students who can document that they are relatives of Martyrs and Veterans will not be charged the summer school tuition fee in the 2020 summer school.
  • Students who froze their registration in the Fall and Spring Semesters of the 2019-2020 Academic Year can take courses from the summer school.
  • Foreign students studying on behalf of Ministries and public institutions in return for compulsory service, students from the Republic of Turkey and Turkish and Related Communities studying with a State Scholarship, and research assistants who are pursuing postgraduate education in regular and second education and can document their status will not be charged the summer school tuition fee.
