Horizontal Transfer Application Evaluation Results (2022-2023 Fall Semester)

- Students who have gained the right to Horizontal Transfer must register in person or through a proxy appointed by a notary at our Faculty's student affairs unit within working hours on 05-06 September 2022.
- The responsibility for the documents submitted by students applying for Horizontal Transfer lies with them. In case of any irregularity and its detection, their registration will be deleted even if they have registered.
THE FOLLOWING DOCUMENTS WILL BE BROUGHT FOR REGISTRATION:
- High School Diploma or Certified Copy, if available
- Identity Photocopy
- Student Identity Card from the University of Origin
- Document Indicating No Objection to Horizontal Transfer (The student will obtain this from their current school.)
The results are in the attached list.

According to Article 6, paragraph 1 of our University's Associate and Undergraduate Exemption and Adaptation Directive;
1) The adaptation of students who transfer horizontally between institutions to the same program with their general grade point average or Central Placement Score (pursuant to Additional Article-1) and students who transfer horizontally within the institution is made to the relevant semester/year of the class they transferred to;
2) Students coming to a different program with the Central Placement Score (pursuant to Additional Article-1) are adapted to the relevant semester of the first year. However, after the exemption procedures of the student, the adaptation to the relevant semester/year can be rearranged according to their exemption.
3) Students who transfer with the Vertical Transfer Exam are adapted to the fifth semester.
4) A student benefiting from the amnesty law continues their education from the semester they left off.
5) The adaptation of students transferring horizontally between the first and second education programs of the same program is made to the class they are in, and their grades are transferred as is.
Pursuant to Article 6, paragraph (ç), “Students continue to attend classes in the classes they are adapted to until their exemption procedures are completed. After the exemption procedures are completed, the provisions regarding the obligation to attend classes in our University's Associate and Undergraduate Education-Teaching Regulation are applied from the date the decisions are notified to the student.”
According to the articles listed above, the class adaptations of students whose horizontal transfer applications are accepted are determined within the scope of the directive.
