Bucak Business Faculty students organized a Technical Trip to Süleyman Demirel University Metaverse Entrepreneurship Studio and Sebat Rose Oil Factory.

As part of the Entrepreneurship course led by Prof. Dr. Özlem Çetinkaya Bozkurt, third-year students from the Business Administration and Public Relations and Promotion departments of Bucak Business Faculty participated in a technical trip to observe a successful entrepreneurship example and discuss the entrepreneurship ecosystem in different environments. 

The first visit on the trip was to the Süleyman Demirel University Metaverse Entrepreneurship Studio. The trip started with Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pınar GÖKTAŞ providing information about the studio and discussing the projects carried out. Later, the outputs of the European Union project titled "Enhancing Youth Studies in the Context of the Impact of Digital Tourism on Social Entrepreneurship", led by GÖKTAŞ, were presented. After the presentation, academics and students experienced a virtual reality headset. After our students' enjoyable journey in the virtual world, the Süleyman Demirel University Prototype Workshop was visited and the activities in the workshop were shared. 

After discussing the topic of entrepreneurship at Süleyman Demirel University with a focus on the metaverse, referred to as the new generation internet, the next stop of the trip was the visit to Sebat Essential Oil Factory. Faculty students were informed about the establishment story of the factory, which was established in 1950 and currently operates as a supplier in the fixed and volatile oils sector in the national and international market, and its current activities. After visiting the production facilities, the technical trip ended.
